Glenbrook Partners promotes Drew Edmond to associate partner
Glenbrook Partners, a Silicon Valley-based consultancy focusing on the payments industry, has promoted Drew Edmond to associate partner.
Based in New York, Edmond has been at Glenbrook since 2018 and has over a decade of experience in the payments industry. In his previous role as senior engagement manager, Edmond advised clients on creating and executing optimal payments strategies throughout the value chain.
Prior to Glenbrook, Edmond spent two years as senior program manager of payments at Etsy, where he focused on cost optimization, streamlining infrastructure, and improving customer experience. Before that, he spent over five years at payments giant Square, where as a technical program manager he created new operational processes, developed cost reduction strategies, and led engineering projects.
Edmond has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
“Drew has a deep understanding of the merchant perspective which allows him to identify and address major strategic topics that arise during merchant payments strategy engagements," said Bryan Derman, managing partner at Glenbrook. "I'm delighted to formally welcome Drew as a partner."
Founded in 2001 by senior leaders from Visa, Mastercard, and other payments firms, Glenbrook provides consulting, education, and research to operators of payments systems, businesses that use payments systems, and companies providing products and services to the payments industry. The firm’s consulting offering includes strategy development, investor due diligence, merchant acquirer request-for-proposal support, and merchant payments assessment.
