He joins Vivaldi from AccuWeather, where he spent the last three years as VP of international business development and facilitated partnerships in Europe and Latin America.

Earlier in his career, Monheim was a VP of international sales at SevenOne Media and a manager of strategic planning and research at Viacom, focusing on MTV Networks Latin America.
Monheim has an MBA from Bentley University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Trinity University.
“The changing landscape of media and entertainment is opening new opportunities for businesses and brands. Michael’s expertise will ensure that Vivaldi can continue our mission of enabling companies in media and entertainment to reimagine how they create value,” said Erich Joachimsthaler, CEO and founder of Vivaldi.
Vivaldi was founded in 1999 and brands itself as a “strategy-first, customer-first, and digital first growth firm.” The consultancy has offerings across brand strategy, innovation strategy, customer experience, creative, analytics, and organization and culture. Vivaldi’s clients include brands such as Lego, Airbnb, BMW, and Samsung.
The firm has more than 160 people listed on LinkedIn in nine offices across the US, Canada, UK, Germany, and Switzerland.
“I am very excited to join Vivaldi Group’s international consultancy, as it expands its current service offerings, in media and entertainment,” Monheim said. “Working together with Vivaldi’s top-notch talent across the globe, I plan to leverage my experience and relationships in international media, to help expand Vivaldi’s new services, products and ventures to more brands and partners across the world.”
