"With Rachel at the helm, we have a highly-experienced leader with extensive consulting expertise ranging from healthcare to retail that will help foster new opportunities for the Nashville office and the region."

A native Nashvillian, Askew brings more than 15 years of healthcare industry and consulting experience to SEI, where she will serve as managing director and lead the office’s expansion.

She previously spent four years at Ankura, where she was latterly a managing director. Before that, she spent two years at C3 Consulting, a Nashville management consultancy that was acquired by Ankura in 2018.

Earlier in her career, Askew was a senior planning analyst at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a product development manager at MedSolutions, and a senior marketing manager at Quorum Health Resources.

She has an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.

"I'm thrilled to lead our Nashville office and bring our unique model to local and national businesses experiencing high growth or significant transformation that need help solving complex problems," said Askew. "Unlike other firms, we meet in the middle of advisory and execution and are able to tap into our national network of 450 experienced consultants who are ready to roll up their sleeves and help our clients achieve success."
