Consulting firm SEI opens Nashville location

Systems Evolution Incorporated (SEI), a Cincinnati-headquartered management consulting firm, has announced the opening of a new office in Nashville led by new hire Rachel Askew.

The Nashville office is SEI’s 12th in the country, joining locations in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C. The employee-owned consultancy has 450 consultants and uses a local delivery model.

"With Rachel at the helm, we have a highly-experienced leader with extensive consulting expertise ranging from healthcare to retail that will help foster new opportunities for the Nashville office and the region."

The Nashville team will work with local clients in healthcare, retail, finance, and automotive. The wider firm provides consulting in strategy, operations, technology, data, and compliance to clients in a range of industries.

A native Nashvillian, Askew brings more than 15 years of healthcare industry and consulting experience to SEI, where she will serve as managing director and lead the office’s expansion.

She previously spent four years at Ankura, where she was latterly a managing director. Before that, she spent two years at C3 Consulting, a Nashville management consultancy that was acquired by Ankura in 2018.

Askew previously spent over four years at HealthStream, an HR technology consultancy serving the healthcare industry, where she was a senior product manager. Earlier in her career, Askew was a senior planning analyst at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a product development manager at MedSolutions, and a senior marketing manager at Quorum Health Resources.

She has an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.
