KPMG US names Lisa Daniels vice chair of growth and strategy
KPMG US has appointed Lisa Daniels as vice chair of growth and strategy.
Based in San Francisco, Daniels will join the accounting and consulting firm’s management committee and will focus on client service excellence, implementing firm strategy, and enhancing KPMG’s brand.
She has been at KPMG for nearly 30 years and most recently served as global lead partner for a key technology sector account. Before that, Daniels served as office managing partner of Phoenix, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco.
She joined the firm’s Los Angeles office in 1993 as a staff accountant and was named a partner in 2001. Prior to KPMG, Daniels was a commercial real estate broker.
She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University and is a CPA in California, Arizona, and Illinois. Daniels serves on the boards of the California Chamber of Commerce, the San Francisco Ballet, and Women Corporate Directors Foundation.
“Growth and Strategy spans across KPMG’s functional areas of Audit, Tax, and Advisory and Lisa’s career includes serving clients while leading teams in each of these practices,” said Paul Knopp, chair and CEO of KPMG US. “As we continue to lean into our multi-disciplinary model and deliver unparalleled service for our clients, Lisa’s deep experience, strategic thinking, and total firm approach make her a great leader to carry us forward.”
KPMG has opted not to follow EY’s lead in pursuing a split of its consulting and audit businesses.
Daniels added, “I am excited to work alongside the leadership team to continue to transform our firm and build on our long track record of success to better serve our teams, clients and communities.”
KPMG US has more than 35,000 people across 100+ offices in all 50 states. The firm has approximately $11.88 billion in annual revenue.
