Modus Create, a Reston, VA-based digital consulting firm, has hired Ingo Piroth as chief revenue officer.

In his new role, Piroth will oversee overall revenue achievement and lead growth teams – including sales, marketing, partnerships, and account growth functions.

Piroth’s hiring arrives amid rapid growth for the consultancy – with five acquisitions in the last 12 months. Modus also placed on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies for the eighth year in a row.

Piroth brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT consulting and TMT sectors, with a focus on  building, recruiting, and managing high-performance sales and delivery teams and scaling new practice areas, offers, and go-to-market strategies.

He joins Modus from Trianz, where he spent the last three years, latterly serving as chief revenue officer. Before that he was the IT consultancy’s North America practice leader.

Prior to Trianz he spent over two years at Cognizant, where he was VP of sales for the IT consultancy’s digital engineering division.
