Propeller adds Kristen Harris as technology transformation director
Propeller, a Portland, OR-based management consulting firm, has hired Kristen Harris as director of technology transformation.
Based in Denver, Harris brings more than 20 years of consulting and tech industry experience to Propeller, where she will lead business development, talent development, operations, and thought leadership for the tech transformation practice.
Harris has during the span of her career led hundreds of successful platform integrations, managed global software development teams, designed enterprise-level technology strategies, and advised C-suite executives on emerging technologies.
She joins Propeller from Zia Consulting, where she spent the last decade and latterly served as VP of service delivery – leading strategy on enterprise digital transformation engagements and overseeing operations and best practices in continuous service delivery improvement.
Before that, Harris spent 11 years at Sun Microsystems, where she was latterly director of web data engineering, managing a full-stack web development team of more than 60 people.
She began her career at Quark Software, where she was a technical trainer.
Harris has a bachelor’s degree in communications theory from the University of Madison-Wisconsin and is certified project management professional.

The consultancy provides services in business and operating model strategy, digital transformation, operational excellence, supply chain optimization, ecommerce, CX design, organizational design, change management, people strategy, program management, and technology implementation, among other areas.
The firm primarily serves clients in technology, retail, energy and utilities, healthcare, and the public sector.
