Capco adds David Radvany and Michael Hertzig as partners
Capco, a management and technology consultancy focusing on the financial services industry, has hired David Radvany and Michael Hertzig as partners in its insurance sector practice.
Radvany and Hertzig will work with Ernst Renner, head of Capco’s US insurance practice, to lead the practice’s next growth phase.
Based in New York, Radvany brings more than 30 years of technology consulting experience, with a focus on the insurance industry. He has expertise delivering projects in technology strategy and implementation, digital, data and analytics, cloud, and operational excellence.
He joins Capco from AIG, where he spent the last two years as SVP and global technology delivery lead for general insurance. Before that, he spent 33 years at Accenture, where he held numerous senior roles, including global technology and delivery capability leader for analytics technology within the digital practice. Before that, he was head of the North American insurance technology practice and then leader of the financial services technology practice.
Radvany has master’s and bachelor’s degrees in computer science from Columbia University.
Based in Chicago, Hertzig brings extensive experience leading business and technology consulting engagements in the insurance industry. He specializes in target operating model development, market strategy, business process redesign, customer care and support, and analytics.
Hertzig joins Capco from IT consultancy EXL, where he spent nearly two years as a partner in the insurance practice focusing on re-engineering process engagements.
Before that, he was a partner in IBM Consulting’s North American insurance practice, overseeing profit and loss for key insurance industry accounts of $20 million+, and practice lead for North American insurance at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, leading client and business relationships for the practice.
Hertzig was also previously Deloitte US practice lead for insurance claims technology. Earlier in his career, Hertzig was group VP at CCC Information Services and a senior manager at Accenture.
He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Purdue University.
