Deep Water Point & Associates (DWPA), a management consultancy focusing on the federal market, has hired Brooke Smith as chief executive officer. He is based in the firm’s Annapolis, MD headquarters.

Smith succeeds DWPA founder Howard Seeger, who has led the company since its launch in 2002.

Private equity firm Renovus Capital Partners acquired Deep Water Point in October 2022 and the following month bolted on Wolf Den Associates, a McLean, VA-based federal contractor consulting firm. The company in March rebranded to Deep Water Point & Associates.

"I am proud of what we have accomplished at Deep Water Point & Associates over nearly two decades and equally excited about our bright future," said Seeger. "Brooke is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and market growth strategies. He is an ideal executive to usher Deep Water Point & Associates into its next phase and we are pleased that he will lead our growing team."

Smith brings more than 40 years of experience with a focus on leading growth strategy development and execution for federal market companies.
