Three leaders rejoin Mercer's New York headquarters
Leading HR consultancy Mercer has welcomed back three former employees to its New York City offices. After spending time at other firms, the three have returned to Mercer to take on new leadership roles. Taryn Branca has been named Market Sales Leader for the Tri-State area, Paulette Welsing has been named M&A East Market Business Leader, and Robyn Cameron has been appointed a Partner, Client Management. All three are newly created positions.
As Market Sales Leader for NY/NJ/CT, Taryn Branca will report to Chase Zaputil, Chief Sales Officer, North America. Branca brings more than 15 years of relationship management and business development experience to the new role.
Before rejoining Mercer, Branca was a Director at Castlight Health, a San Francisco-based healthcare price comparison company, for almost two years. Prior to that, Branca worked at Mercer for almost six years, starting as a Senior Associate and then rising to the position of Principal in the Health & Benefits practice. Before her time with Mercer, she served as an Executive Director at the American Heart Association, Westchester/Fairfield Region.In her new position as M&A East Market Business Leader, Paulette Welsing will report to Jeff Black, North America M&A Leader. Welsing boasts extensive experience in the areas of capital strategy, HR transformations, and change management.
Previously, she was a Partner in the HR Strategic Advisory and M&A Consulting Services business of Aon, helping clients navigate HR transformations and digitalization, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational change. Before that Welsing was a Managing Director at KPMG’s HR Transformation Center of Excellence. Welsing started her consulting career in 1990 with Mercer, staying with the firm for 21 years and rising to the level of Partner.
Robyn Cameron, as Partner, Client Management, will report to Tri-State Office Leader Mary Tinebra. Cameron brings almost three decades of consulting experience to the role, where she will be responsible for managing relationships with a number of Mercer’s key global and regional clients.
Previously, she served as Global Solutions Architect at Korn Ferry’s Rewards and Benefit Solutions practice. Before that, she was SVP, Global Employer Segment, and North America Market Leader at Cigna. Cameron started her career with Mercer, where she worked for 25 years, rising to the level of Senior Partner and global leader of the firm’s International Consulting Group.
