ZCG Consulting hires three new US partners
ZCG Consulting (ZCGC), the management consulting arm of merchant bank Z Capital Group (ZCG), has hired three partners across its US offices: Subrata Bhaumik, Dustin Goodwin, and Zachary Nippert.
Subrata Bhaumik joins the New York office’s strategic finance office, where he will provide interim CFO leadership and support across ZCG’s portfolio companies.
Bhaumik brings more than 40 years of financial industry experience, with expertise in operational financial leadership, merger integration, enterprise software implementations, turnarounds, restructuring, and performance improvement.
He previously held leadership positions at Dunes Point Capital, Dubin Clark, CI Capital, and Liberty Partners. Bhaumik also previously served in CFO and senior financial leadership roles at Acme Smoked Fish Corp, Dun & Bradstreet Asia, Schlumberger, and Siemens Medical Systems.
He has an MBA from the City University of New York and a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Calcutta, India.
Dustin Goodwin joins the strategic technology practice in New York, where he will be responsible for strategy and oversight of portfolio company technology initiatives.
He brings more than 25 years of IT leadership experience, with deep expertise working with financial firms, including private equity and banks. Goodwin most recently served as CIO of Proterra, an electric vehicle and battery manufacturer. He also previously spent five years as CIO of Icahn Enterprises, leading the company’s technology and cyber programs and advising its portfolio companies.
Earlier in his career, Goodwin was director of hosting and cloud engineering at Royal Bank Canada and VP of cybersecurity and infrastructure at The Blackstone Group.
He has a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Miami.
Zachary Nippert joins the Chicago office as a partner and digital revenue officer. He brings 20 years of marketing and advertising sector experience, with expertise across marketing execution, go-to-market strategy, product innovation, and digital revenue generation.
Nippert most recently spent three years at market research firm CivicScience, where he was chief revenue officer and then president. Before that, he spent a decade at market research firm LRWMotiveQuest, where also served as chief revenue officer and then president.
Earlier in his career, he held account executive roles at several ad agencies, including DDB and Leo Burnett.
Nippert has a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Miami University, Ohio.
