In his new role, Clayes will focus on driving business across the US and supporting growth of PMP’s digital practice.

Clayes joins PMP from management consultancy Logic20/20, where he spent the last eight years as a managing director in the Seattle office. Before that, he spent three years as a principal at Iode, leading large-scale transformation projects for telecom, media, and technology (TMT) and financial services clients.

Earlier in his career, Clayes was a manager in PMP’s Paris office. He began his career at KPMG France, where he was latterly a senior consultant.

Clayes has an MBA from Sorbonne Business School and a master’s degree in management information systems from Polytech Montpelier, France.

“We have been very active with investment funds and telecom operators over the past year, and the time has come to have a local team on-site to serve our expanding customer base,” said Gilles Vaqué, president and managing partner of PMP Strategy. “We remain a relatively new player in the strategy consulting industry and are in competition with large consulting firms. Our agile model, the synergies of our offices and expertise, and our multi-specialist structure are key to our success.”

PMP was founded in 2003 and has more than 150 people across offices in EMEA and North America. The firm provides consulting in strategy and transformation, finance and performance, due diligence, digital, and big data.

PMP focuses on clients in TMT, transport and mobility, energy, and financial services.

Clayes added, “In addition to our sector excellence, our advantage lies in our global P&L and shared staffing model, which will enable me to keep customer service at the center of our activities by mobilizing the most pertinent expertise of our existing specialists as we identify the best resources to build our US team.”
