Frank Dery joins BRG's forensic accounting practice as managing director

Frank Dery, a former partner at PwC, has joined Berkeley Research Group (BRG)’s forensic accounting practice as a managing director.

Based in Chicago, Dery brings two decades of professional services experience, with a focus on litigation support for public and private clients.

His litigation case experience focuses on transaction-related disputes, including working capital disputes, earn-out disputes, and claims of breaches of representations and warranties. In the area of forensic accounting, Dery has led complex investigations pertaining to corruption, asset misappropriation, asset tracing, embezzlement, and money laundering.

He has worked on investigations across the US, South America, Europe, and the Middle East for clients in a range of industries, including medical devices, healthcare, manufacturing, government contracting, and agricultural products.Frank Dery joins BRG's forensic accounting practice as managing director"We are delighted to have Frank join BRG and our talented Economics & Damages community," said BRG managing director Ray Kolls, a co-leader of the community. Dery spent the last 20 years at PwC, serving as a partner since 2018.

He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Michigan and is a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner, and certified in financial forensics.

BRG earlier this summer hired Joe Schmitt and Will Russo as managing directors in its corporate finance practice.
