Jennifer Gagnier joins WSP USA as head of health and safety

Jennifer Gagnier has joined WSP USA, a design and engineering consultancy, as senior vice president of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ).

Based in Madison, WI, Gagnier will oversee strategic direction, development, and management of all HSEQ frameworks, metrics, and reporting standards in WSP’s US operations.

She brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of HSE programs, as well as in planning, design, construction management, program management, design build, operations, and maintenance projects.

Before that she held increasingly senior roles within the firm’s HSE function.

Prior to joining Jacobs in 1995 as an HSE supervisor, Gagnier was a safety coordinator at Fermilab.

She has a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals and Women in Safety Engineering.
