Crowe US adds veteran attorney Sheryl Falk as advisory principal
Crowe US, a mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has hired Sheryl Falk, a former partner at Winston & Strawn, as an advisory principal in its forensic and legal consulting practice.
Based in Houston, Falk brings 30 years of legal experience, with deep expertise across digital investigations, trade secret investigations and litigation, and data security.
In her new role at Crowe, Falk will focus on supporting law firm and corporate clients with digital investigations in trade secrets and other complex matters. She will also support the expansion of offerings in legal strategy and digital forensics.
“Sheryl will serve as a vanguard who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our legal strategy and digital forensics group to support our clients across Crowe,” said Tim Bryan, forensic and legal consulting services practice leader. “Her passion to deliver exceptional client experiences, while leading those around her, aligns seamlessly with Crowe’s core values and commitment to excellence.”
Falk previously spent 12 years at Winston & Strawn, an international law firm with 900+ attorneys, where she co-led the global privacy and data security practice.
Before that, she was an attorney at Howrey Simon Arnold & White and at Clements, O'Neill, Pierce, Wilson & Fulkerson.
Earlier in her career, Falk was an assistant US attorney.
She has a juris doctor from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree from The University of the South.
“I am delighted to join Crowe and continue to elevate the experienced team,” said Falk. “This position allows me to combine my passion for cutting-edge digital technology with my strong investigations and litigation experience to provide management consulting services to the legal industry and other Crowe clients. I look forward to helping organizations address the complex issues surrounding data security, trade secret investigations and other complex data challenges.”
Crowe earlier this year hired Gev Khan and Eric Evans as partners in its tax practice.
