Amy Helenbrook joins Stax as managing director
Amy Helenbrook has joined the value creation practice of Stax, an M&A strategy consulting firm.
Based in Chicago, Helenbrook brings more than two decades of experience driving B2B revenue growth for global corporations. She has particular expertise in pricing, including developing strategies and executing pricing changes to deliver enhanced enterprise value.
"In the current macro environment characterized by higher interest rates and slower growth, the heightened importance of value creation, particularly in driving EBITDA performance over extended hold periods, has become a top priority for management teams and sponsors,” said Vince Zosa, Stax managing director. “Amy, with her unique value creation background, strengthens Stax's ability to address the growing client demand to deliver fast, actionable results.”
Helenbrook joins Stax from Shopify Logistics, where she spent two years as head of pricing and go-to-market strategy. Before that, she spent two years as a principal at Insight2Profit, a management consultancy focusing on pricing.
Earlier in her career, Helenbrook spent at decade at Boston Consulting Group, where she was latterly a principal.
Before entering management consulting, Helenbrook spent five years as a scientist at PerkinElmer Life and Analytics Sciences.
She has an MBA from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Ithaca College.

Stax specializes in commercial due diligence, value creation, and exit planning for private equity firms, portfolio companies, hedge funds, and investment banks. The consultancy has more than 300 global professionals across offices in Boston, Chicago, New York, London, and Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Stax last year hired Anuj Shah as a managing director and leader of its ESG practice.
