Publicis Sapient launches global business unit for AI on Google Cloud
Publicis Sapient, a digital business transformation company, has launched a new global business unit dedicated to AI services and products on the Google Cloud.
Launched on the back of a freshly expanded global partnership with Google Cloud, the new Google Cloud practice will support the firm’s clients with planning, deploying, and managing Google Cloud technologies, with a focus on AI and Generative AI. The practice will serve clients across industries, including financial services, consumer goods, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, media, technology, transportation, and travel & hospitality.

Speaking about one example, Vaz highlighted how the consulting firm and Google Cloud helped a large bank modernize its infrastructure and software development lifecycle using Generative AI hosted in the cloud. That projects helped boost efficiency by up to 40%.
Alongside client services, the Google Cloud business unit will also lead joint go-to-market activities, proposition development (focused on the marketing & sales domain), and talent development.
