PharmSight expands into US with Boston office

PharmSight, an India-based pharmaceutical industry research and analytics firm, has created a US subsidiary and opened an office in Boston.
The new subsidiary, PharmSight Inc., will be led by co-founder Geet Sethi. As director of operations of the new entity, Sethi will focus on leading expansion in the US.
“With 75% of our business originating from US clients, opening our Boston office is the logical next step to deepen local partnerships and elevate our service offerings,” said Abhinav Basia, co-founder of PharmSight.
The firm says the US launch is part of a wider global expansion strategy. PharmSight is planning to open new offices in Europe and the Middle East, launch an AI solutions innovation center, and double its workforce over the next one to two years.
“Our investment in advanced AI and LLM initiatives is revolutionizing the way we empower biopharma decision-making,” said co-founder Chirag Maheshwar. “This year, we saw a 40% growth which confirms that our technology-driven approach is making a difference. As we expand globally and prepare to launch an innovation center focused on AI, we are poised to deliver even greater value to patient care.”
PharmSight was founded in 2018 and has over 50 employees. The firm has offerings in advanced data analytics, forecasting, competitive intelligence, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), reporting automation, patient analytics, data management, and AI-based solutions.
PharmSight has expertise across the therapy areas of neurology, immunology, oncology, rare diseases, and others, and has worked with seven of the top 30 global pharma companies.
