Accenture to acquire Maryville Consulting Group

Accenture, a Dublin-based management and technology consulting firm, has agreed to acquire Maryville Consulting Group (MCG), a St. Louis-based technology strategy consulting firm.

Founded in 1994, MCG helps Fortune 2000 companies transform into tech-enabled businesses. The firm has approximately 100 professionals and has core capabilities in product-driven growth strategy, digital operations, and technology business management.

MCG helps clients drive technology transformation by adopting the right processes, roles and responsibilities, governance, funding models, and measurements. The firm helps companies align on a common vision and executable strategy to enable process redesign and platform design and implementation.

MCG has technology partnership with vendors such as ServiceNow and Apptio.

The acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions, will bolster Accenture’s technology strategy capability.

Accenture earlier this year restructured its organization. The firm has over 800,00 people globally.
