Charles River Associates welcomes Arin Mitra to transfer pricing practice

Charles River Associates (CRA) has hired Arin Mitra, PhD, as a vice president in its transfer pricing practice.

Based in Miami, Mitra brings over 30 years of experience in transfer pricing, with extensive expertise planning, implementing, and defending transfer prices for large multinational corporations.

Mitra spent 31 years with Deloitte before retiring from the Big Four firm earlier this year. He most recently served as lead tax and transfer pricing client services principal.

During his tenure with Deloitte, Mitra advised multinational firms on transfer pricing strategies, managed large teams of tax professionals, provided expert testimony, and developed innovative software tools.

He has a doctorate and master’s degree in economics from Brown University.

CRA’s transfer pricing practice supports companies on every phase of the tax cycle, including planning, documentation, and valuation. The practice also provides services in audit defense and litigation support.

CRA earlier this summer welcomed Gene Tien, PhD, as a vice president in its transfer pricing practice.
