Daymer Group hires Ronald Garrity as head of US operations
Daymer Group, a Cayman- and London-based consulting and fiduciary services firm, has expanded into the United States with the hiring of Ronald Garrity as a consultant, independent director, and leader of US operations.
Garrity brings 20+ years of experience in the government and defense contracting sector, where he advises on operational turnarounds, growth-stage scaleups, competitive positioning, transformational growth, and exit events.
He specializes in the design and execution of business strategies to align with US federal procurement trends and priorities. Garrity has led the capture and delivery of more than $2.1 billion in federal contracts, including numerous $100-million+ prime awards at the DOD and federal civilian agencies.
Before his consulting career, Garrity was a paratrooper within the airborne units of the US Army.
He has a bachelor’s degree in business from Drexel University.
“As Daymer Group expands its international footprint we have been looking for key personalities with experience in high growth sectors,” said founder Richard Scott-Hopkins. “Due to macro global political and security conditions, the defence sector is booming right now and we believe that the inclusion of a veteran defence sector specialist like Ronald within Daymer Group will lead to significant growth for current and future clients.”
Daymer was founded in August and has a team of nine people across offices in the Cayman Islands, London, and Dubai. The firm provides fiduciary, consulting, and fractional consulting services to investment management and growth-stage companies to support scaleups.
Daymer’s team of directors and consultants include former C-suite executives, partners, and senior leaders from various sectors who help clients improve governance standards and credibility.
The firm says it has 20+ clients with a combined $10 billion in assets under management.
“I’ve been impressed with the structure and ethos at Daymer Group, which aligns with my own view of the consultancy market,” Garrity said. “I am confident we can combine our talents and exploit the opportunities afforded by the defence sector, especially in the US which leads the world in this industry.”
