Susan Roth Katzke joins Oliver Wyman as senior advisor
Susan Roth Katzke has joined management consultancy Oliver Wyman as a senior advisor to its banking and financial services practice.
Based in the firm’s New York headquarters, Katzke has more than 30 years of experience on Wall Street. Widely recognized for her equity research, Katzke has extensive expertise in assessing strategic positioning, financial strength, and market value of financial services firms including banks, brokerages, advisory firms, private equity, and consumer finance companies.
“The financial services industry is ever-evolving,” said Katzke. “I look forward to drawing on my decades of experience, working with the expert teams at Oliver Wyman, to thoughtfully advise industry stakeholders on strategy, positioning, and shareholder value creation.”
Katzke is currently an independent director and audit committee member on the boards of Blackstone affiliates BXINFRA and BXPE.
Katzke previously spent 18 years with Credit Suisse, where she was a managing director leading global bank research and overseeing equity research coverage of US large-cap banks. Before that, she was a banking industry senior equity research analyst at Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette, Bear Stearns, and Kidder, Peabody & Co.
Katzke has an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

The firm is a subsidiary of Marsh McLennan, which recently announced plans to rebrand to “Marsh.”
