PwC grew its global revenue to 2.7% in local currency to $56.9 billion in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.

PwC’s FY25 growth rate was below its Big Four counterparts, with Deloitte posting a 4.8% increase to reach $70.5 billion and EY registering 4.0% growth to reach $53.2 billion.

PwC also decreased its headcount by 5,600 in FY25, down to 364,000 people. The US firm earlier this year cut approximately 1,500 jobs, citing historically low levels of attrition.

“This has been a year of extraordinary complexity—but also of progress. I’m proud of the trust our clients continue to place in us as we help them reinvent and respond to the challenges shaping today’s economy,” said Mohamed Kande, global chairman, PwC.

The Americas region posted the strongest growth, at 5.5% to $25.5 billion, followed by the EMEA region at 2.5% to $22.5 billion. PwC’s Asia region registered a significant decline in revenue, dropping 4.1% to $8.8 billion, although the firm said fees increased in Japan, South Korea, and India.

All three of PwC’s business lines grew in FY25. Advisory revenue increased by 4.5% to $24.3 billion, followed by assurance (1.7%, $19.8 billion) and tax and legal services (1.0%, $12.7 billion).

PwC says it invested $3.1 billion across the network last year, including 12 acquisitions and strategic investments in AI capabilities. The Big Four accountancy invested nearly $1.5 billion into AI capabilities such as agentic AI solutions, a global “AI factory,” and various AI hubs and centers of excellence.

“Over the past year, we’ve accelerated our own reinvention — building real momentum for the next era of professional services,” Kande added. “Our commitment to a network-first strategy has never been stronger. We’re investing in our people, advancing technology, and raising the bar on quality across the world.”

PwC also in FY25 refreshed its brand.
