The Gunter Group expands into Nashville
The Gunter Group (TGG), a Portland, OR-based management consulting firm, has expanded into the Southeast with a new office in Nashville.
The new office is the firm’s third location in the US and first in the eastern half of the country. TGG, which has nearly 100 employees, opened a Denver office last year.
The boutique firm has hired Rebecca Whitehead as principal and Nashville market leader. She brings more than 20 years of industry and consulting experience in healthcare, with expertise across strategy, performance improvement, and change management.
Whitehead was previously VP of residential services – Western region at Newport Healthcare, COO at 180 Health Partners, and director of clinical transformation consulting at UnitedHealth Group. Earlier in her career, she was a client executive at North Highland, an SVP at Consensus Point, and director of healthcare services at Cisco Systems.
Whitehead has an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.

TGG says it plans to hire more team members in Nashville and that the office will serve as a hub in the firm’s wider national footprint.
Founded in 2011, TGG advises clients on strategy development, digital transformations, large-scale system implementations, agile development, data services, and enterprise architecture changes.
The firm works with Fortune 100 clients in automotive, financial services, insurance, healthcare, and consumer goods.
