Procurement consultancy Inverto opens new office in Atlanta
Inverto, a Cologne, Germany-headquartered procurement and supply chain consulting firm, has opened its second US location with the launch of an Atlanta office.
The firm, which was acquired by Boston Consulting Group in 2017, opened its first US location in Chicago in 2024.
Inverto says the Atlanta office is a response to growing demand from North American clients for procurement expertise amid supply volatility, inflation, geopolitical uncertainty, and technology advancements.
With the emergence of AI solutions, the procurement function can be used to manage cost and risk while driving innovation and sustainable growth, Inverto says.
“Procurement now sits at the intersection of AI, resilience and value creation. Businesses that invest in advanced procurement capabilities are far better positioned to absorb disruption, scale innovation and drive profitable growth,” said Daniel Weise, global CEO at Inverto.
The firm says it chose Atlanta for its second US office because it is one of the fastest growing business and tech hubs in the country, is home to numerous Fortune 500s, and has a deep talent pool.
“Establishing a presence in Atlanta enables Inverto to serve clients across manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, transportation, logistics, and technology sectors – all industries experiencing significant reinvention,” said Dan Belz, leader of Inverto North America.
The Cologne-based firm added that the Atlanta office will play a key role in Inverto’s expansion in the region as its scales its operations.
Inverto was founded in 2000 and has 700+ experts across offices in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the US. The firm has practices in procurement excellence, cost optimization, supply chain management, and digital and AI, among other areas.
