North Highland hires Nyla Beth Gawel as senior managing director

North Highland, an Atlanta-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Nyla Beth Gawel as a senior managing director focusing on workforce and change strategy.

Based in Washington, DC, Gawel is a transformation executive with over 20 years of experience. She has led corporate strategy for global tech and service firms and consulting practices serving commercial, international, and public sector clients.

Gawel spent the last three years running her independent firm NBG Strategy Consulting. Before that, she spent two years at SAIC as senior vice president for corporate strategy and a year at Verizon Business as director of public sector strategy.

Earlier in her career, Gawel spent 13 years with Booz Allen Hamilton, where she was a vice president.

She has a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University.
