FTI Consulting hires Angela Nam as chief financial officer
FTI Consulting, a Washington, DC-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Angela Nam as its chief financial officer, effective May 1, 2026.
Nam, who is based New York, will succeed Paul Linton, who has held the interim CFO role since September 2025. Linton will return to his prior role as chief strategy and transformation officer.
Nam brings 20+ years of experience in finance and accounting. She has led the finance and accounting organizations of public companies, private equity-backed firms, and companies undergoing the IPO process.
Nam has extensive expertise in financial strategy, capital markets, transaction execution, pricing strategies, and organizational effectiveness.
She joins FTI from FTAI Aviation, a public company that specializes in the maintenance, repair, and leasing of commercial jet engineer and aircraft, where she spent three years and was chief financial officer and chief accounting officer.
Before that, Nam spent eight years with Fortress Investment Group, where she was SVP for private equity. In the role, she focused on transaction advisory processes for IPOs, spin-offs, equity and debt offerings, and acquisitions.
Earlier in her career, Nam spent 10 years with KPMG, where she was a senior manager in audit and advisory services.
She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Emory University.
“I am very excited that Angela is joining our team. She brings deep financial expertise, strong operational judgment and extensive capital markets experience to FTI Consulting,” said Steven Gunby, CEO and chairman of FTI Consulting. “She has a proven track record of leading finance organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and complexity.”
FTI has over 8,100 employees in 32 countries and territories who help organizations manage change, mitigate risk, and resolve disputes. The public company has annual revenue of $3.8 billion.
