Oliver Wyman announces senior leadership appointments to shepherd AI integration

Oliver Wyman, a New York-headquartered management consulting firm, has announced three senior leadership appointments to help the company accelerate its AI integration and transformation.

Jeremy Badman will take on the newly created role of chief data and AI officer. Badman, who previously spent 13 years as chief operating officer, will lead the integration of AI within Oliver Wyman and work with leaders across the firm to design a delivery model that incorporates agentic AI.

Based in London, Badman joined Oliver Wyman in 1998 and was named a partner in 2006.

Paula McGlarry will succeed Badman as COO and will continue to serve as chief of staff. She will oversee the continued transformation of the firm’s operating model – focusing on improving cross-functional collaboration and integrating AI into core processes.

McGlarry has been at Oliver Wyman since 2003 and previously served as general counsel and chief compliance officer. She is based in New York City.

Mariya Rosberg will step into the newly created role of head of strategy and growth, where she will focus on shaping the firm’s priorities, accelerating growth, aligning investment priorities with value creation, and anchoring the firm’s transition towards AI-enabled consulting.

Based in New York City, Rosberg has been with Oliver Wyman for 15 years and most recently served as head of the Americas banking and financial services practice. She previously was director of strategy at Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch.

“Together, these appointments reflect a coordinated effort to reimagine how Oliver Wyman operates, pairing our industry knowledge with advanced AI capabilities to deliver greater value to clients,” said Ted Moynihan, the recently appointed CEO of Oliver Wyman and Marsh Management Consulting. “Jeremy, Paula and Mariya each bring outstanding leadership, broad experience, and a strong commitment to our culture, and I am confident they will help lead Oliver Wyman into this next chapter.”

Oliver Wyman has approximately 7,000 global employees delivering consulting in strategy, operations, sales and marketing, and digital, among other areas.

The firm earlier this month announced the acquisition of CR3 Partners, a Dallas-based turnaround and performance improvement consultancy.
