Equiteq promotes Ravi Dosanjh to managing director in New York
Equiteq, an investment bank focusing on the technology and consulting services industries, has promoted Ravi Dosanjh to managing director in its New York office.
Dosanjh has been with Equiteq since 2015, joining the firm’s London headquarters as an analyst before transferring to the New York location in 2016. He was promoted to a VP in the investment banking practice in 2022 and was named a director in 2024.
As a managing director, Dosanjh will lead origination and execution across tech services and specialty consulting M&A, mentor early-career team members, and help shape Equiteq’s US strategic direction.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cambridge in the UK.
“Building a career from the beginning to Managing Director at the same firm is a rare achievement in our industry, and it tells you everything about Ravi’s caliber, his commitment to our clients, and the strength of the culture we’ve built. He embodies the values we hire for and the standard we set ourselves,” said David Jorgensen, CEO of Equiteq.
Founded in 2006, Equiteq has more than 80 professionals across locations in the UK, US, India, Singapore, and Australia.
The firm aggressively expanded in 2025, adding 30 hires and entering the Atlanta market. Equiteq also has US locations in New York and Los Angeles.
“I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside the firm and I’m enormously proud to step into the Managing Director role at a moment when Equiteq is investing in growth and ambition like never before,” Dosanjh added.
