Equiteq unveils new branding

Equiteq, an investment bank focusing on the technology and consulting services industries, yesterday announced a refresh of its brand.

The boutique firm, which was founded in 2006 in London, has centered the refresh on the concept of emotional intelligence (EQ) – the ability to perceive and manage emotions.

Equiteq’s new monogram logo unites “E” and “Q” as a “visual representation of what sets the firm apart,” according to a press release from the investment bank.

“Equiteq knows that successful transactions are not merely about numbers; they are about people. The team is committed to fostering genuine connections with clients, appealing to both founders and private equity firms and guiding them through the complexities of the investment process with empathy and expertise,” the firm said.

Equiteq’s new website is slated to launch in December.

The firm has 14 managing directors, 67 bankers, and 87 employees across six global offices – including US locations in New York and Boston.

Equiteq’s recent engagements include Perficient’s acquisition of Kelley Austin, Elixirr’s acquisition of TRC Advisory, and Huron’s acquisition of Wilson Perumal & Company.

“As a former entrepreneur and Equiteq client, I’ve seen firsthand Equiteq’s unmatched expertise and care translate into clear strategy and measurable outcomes," said Robby Riggs, chief transformation and operation officer. "The firm’s innovative, future-focused approach to technology, combined with emotional intelligence, sets Equiteq apart in every transaction."
