Embark buys Workday consultancy Commit
Embark, a Dallas-headquartered business consulting firm, has acquired Commit, a Dallas-baseed consulting firm specializing in the Workday human capital management (HCM) ecosystem.
Founded in 2023, Commit provides Workday-related services in application management services, platform optimization, change management, HR modernization, and post-go-live support. The firm was named a 2026 Workday partner of the year for medium enterprise.
Commit has 250 employees listed on LinkedIn.
The transaction is Embark’s first since its founding in 2010, and will grow the firm to approximately 800 people across 26 US offices.
The addition of the Commit team will strengthen Embark’s ability to modernize finance and people operations – from strategy and planning to deployment, activation, and optimization.
“Commit has built something truly exceptional – deep Workday expertise, a high-performance culture, and one of the strongest customer loyalty records in the business,” said Felice Gorordo, CEO of Embark. “This is a defining moment in Embark’s journey to build the premier finance and technology consulting platform in the market, and together we are well-positioned to deliver even greater value for our clients.”
Embark provides services in financial advisory, risk and compliance, human capital, supply chain and operations, deal advisory, digital transformation, and outsourcing.
“Joining forces with Embark gives our team a broader platform, our clients a deeper bench, and both firms the ability to create more impact together. Our mission remains the same, and this combination helps us carry it forward with even greater impact,” said Matt Cahal, founder and CEO of Commit.
