Concentric Energy Advisors adds Jonathan Byrd as vice president

Concentric Energy Advisors, a Boston-based energy and water sector management consulting firm, has hired Jonathan Byrd as a vice president.

Based in Charlotte, NC, Byrd is a utility regulatory expert with more than 20 years of industry experience. He has deep expertise in pricing and rate design, tariff development and administration, and corporate finance.

Byrd previously spent two decades with electric utility firm Duke Energy, where he served as managing director of pricing and strategic solutions. During his tenure with Duke, he held leadership roles in customer products and services, corporate finance, and rate policy.

Byrd holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
