OneDigital Health and Benefits buys Colorado-based Cherry Creek Benefits
US benefits brokerage and consultancy OneDigital Health and Benefits has acquired Englewood, Colorado-based Cherry Creek Benefits. The transaction gives OneDigital its first office in the state.
Atlanta-based OneDigital is one of the larger US consulting firms focused exclusively on employee benefits and human resources. The firm brokers employee benefits products (dental, disability, etc.) and provides a suite of HR and benefits advisory services, tools, and analytics. One Digital employs over 1,400 people across the US, and serves 38,000 clients.
The firm has been inorganically expanding over the past number of months. In September OneDigital acquired LMG International, a benefits consulting and brokerage firm focusing on US Department of Defense contractors. The firm then bought Nashville-based human resources consultancy Paradigm Group in October.
Now, OneDigital has acquired Cherry Creek Benefits, a consulting firm that supports clients in the Colorado Rocky Mountain region with the creation of effective, employee-centered insurance, retirement, and wellness programs. The firm has over 525 employer relationships and was ranked number 11 on the Denver Business Journals list of top Denver-area insurance agencies.
The Cherry Creek team will now have access to a wider suite of resources, including innovative enrollment technology, national compliance resources, and OneDigital’s team of health and wellbeing experts. The Cherry Creek team will form the new OneDigital Denver office, with Scott and Randy Niederbrach serving as managing principals, and Jim Vandersluis, Barry Teeters, and Andy Neff serving as principals.
