Ankura adds Randall Coxworth as senior managing director in LA office
Washington, DC-based management consulting firm Ankura has added capital project planning expert Randall Coxworth as senior managing director.
After its 2018 acquisition of Navigant’s disputes, forensics, and legal technology segment – as well as the firm’s construction practice – Ankura grew its global office footprint to nearly 40 locations. Its headcount also jumped from 575 consultants to more than 1,400, while boosting the company to approximately $500 million in annual revenues.
Ankura has reinforced its construction advisory services practice with the addition of Coxworth. In his new role as a senior managing director based out of Los Angeles, Coxworth will leverage more than 20 years of consulting and construction sector experience to develop strategic growth initiatives for C-suite clients. His expertise spans program and project management services, strategic delivery, risk identification, contract control assessments, and process performance reviews.Prior to joining Ankura, Coxworth spent eight years as a managing director at consulting firm Protoviti, first as capital projects consulting segment leader, and then as global leader of the business performance improvement practice. In the latter role, he developed strategy that led the practice, which covered segments related to transformation, supply chain, capital projects, restructuring, and finance and performance improvement, to double-digit growth and profitability.
Before Protiviti, Coxworth spent more than eight years at construction firm Harbro, where he was a vice president and regional manager, overseeing the entire lifecycle of commercial and residential construction projects.
“We are excited to welcome Randall to the Ankura team. His diverse industry experience and strong leadership qualities will be an asset as we continue to extend the impact of our global construction practice,” Darin L. Buchalter, senior management director of Ankura, said. “With vertical exposure to the industry and a breadth of knowledge in the consulting and construction spaces, Randall will be a tremendous asset to clients formulating new business strategies and seeking to execute on growth plans."
“I look forward to joining Ankura’s talented team of professionals and collaborating with my peers to build upon the firm’s strong construction advisory services practice and assist clients undertaking complex capital projects. Ankura’s culture of collaboration and multidisciplinary approach to client solution development is the distinction that has driven the firm’s immense growth in recent years," Coxworth added.
