Liberty Advisor Group named a 2019 Best Place to Work in Chicago
Management consultancy Liberty Advisor Group was among the companies named as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Chicago. The ranking was published by Crain’s Chicago Business and administered by Best Companies Group.
Chicago-based Liberty provides consulting services in business and technology strategy, mergers and acquisitions, transformation and assurance, business threat intelligence, and data and analytics. Founded in 2008, the company has worked on more than 300 M&A deals and delivered more than $1 billion in operating income improvement. Liberty’s diverse clientele has included Fortune 500 companies and major oil and gas and manufacturing firms.
The firm’s lean team of 63 strategists, technologists, and entrepreneurs ultimately focuses on helping organizations accelerate growth, drive operational efficiency, and reduce risk.
The boutique consultancy has now been named one the best places to work in Chicago, reaching number 68 in the rankings. To build the 100-company ranking, Best Companies Group first evaluated each company’s policies, practices, and demographics, then analyzed employee surveys reflecting workplace experiences and attitudes. More than 14,000 Chicago-area employees responded to the survey.

Boutique staffing companies Engtal and City Staffing topped the list, coming in first and second place, respectively. Other consulting firms that made the grade were Burwood Group (#5), 10th Magnitude (#9), Pariveda Solutions (#13), Integrated Project Management (#16), West Monroe Partners (#24), and Accenture (#38).
Among its other achievements, Liberty is also a Great Place to Work-Certified organization, and was named the #35 Fastest Growing Firm by Consulting Magazine in 2018 – achieving a 112% growth rate between 2014 and 2017.
