GP Strategies inks education deal with Bright Horizons
Professional services firm GP Strategies has entered into a strategic partnership with Bright Horizons, a US-based childcare provider. The deal comes in the wake of Bright Horizons’ acquisition of GP Strategies’ Tuition Program Management business.
The acquisition saw Bright Horizons become the exclusive provider of tuition program management services to all of GP Strategies’ clients, including United Technologies and AMD. The new partnership will see GP Strategies and Bright Horizons referring one another to clients, enabling more widespread access to both firms’ services.
"Bright Horizons is the right partner for our clients that want continued world-class service and superior results from their outside education programs,'' Adam Stedham, president of GP Strategies, said. "This relationship allows us to focus on our market-leading training and consulting services. We are excited to have Bright Horizons introduce us to their client base, which includes some of the most forward-thinking employers who are committed to investing in what matters most to their employees."
Bright Horizons is headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts. It currently operates approximately 1,100 childcare centers and provides care services to about 120,000 children each year, in the US, the UK, the Netherlands, Canada, and India. The firm oversees around $1 billion in annual tuition reimbursements, and works with goliath organizations such as T-Mobile, Home Depot, PepsiCo, and State Farm.
"This partnership capitalizes on our unique ability to deliver tuition programs employers need to realize the promise of educational benefits for all workers," Patrick Donovan, Bright Horizons’ senior vice president of emerging services, said. "GP Strategies is a market leader in customized training solutions. Together, we will enable employers to approach education benefits as a core strategy that drives talent acquisition, retention, development, and career advancement."
