Ettain Group acquires healthcare-focused Centerline Partners

Ettain Group, a national provider of recruitment and managed solutions, has acquired Centerline Partners, a Beverly, MA-based management consulting firm specializing in the life sciences industry.

Founded in 2007, Centerline helps clients in life sciences, pharma, biotech, and health care enhance value and efficiency in their business and IT processes. The firm’s offerings span requirements management, business process optimization, requirements managed services, and active program management.

The firm has approximately 50 employees, according to LinkedIn, with offices in Beverly, MA and Bridgewater, NJ.

Ettain’s acquisition of Centerline will strengthen the company’s consulting capabilities and presence in the life sciences industry.

Ettain was founded in 1996 and provides recruitment and managed solutions in the areas of technology, healthcare IT, digital, professional, and government. The firm’s managed solutions business works with clients to determine project scope, draft a statement of work, onboard a team, establish roles, and create success metrics. The firm’s project management office methodology is based on PMI, Agile, and Six Sigma, and tackles clients’ technology initiatives with complete or partial ownership of outcomes.

Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, Ettain has nearly 5,000 employees and consultants, with 19 offices in the United States.

The firm in 2019 was itself acquired by Alvarez & Marsal Capital, a middle market private equity firm with over $3 billion in assets under management. The firm’s investment team is supported by a strategic association with consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal, adding extensive operational expertise.
