Crowe, a Chicago-based accounting and consulting firm, has hired Chris Goodman as chief marketing officer (CMO). He joins the firm as a principal based in New York.

Goodman will join the executive team of Mark Baer, who became Crowe CEO earlier this year.

Goodman brings more than 30 years of experience in marketing, with deep expertise in professional services. He previously spent eight years as CMO at KPMG US, leading the firm’s marketing practice and overseeing brand building. Goodman also previously spent two years as CMO at Accenture.

Before working in the consulting industry, Goodman spent two decades at ad agency Young & Rubicam, where he was latterly executive vice president and global managing partner. He also oversaw the agency's Accenture account for eight years before joining the firm proper.
