DuPont Sustainable Solutions top EHS consulting brand, says Verdantix survey

DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS), a global operations consultancy, scored top points for brand preference in the environmental health and safety (EHS) category of Verdantix’s 2021 Global Corporate Survey. The independent research firm polled 302 senior EHS executives across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions.

DSS scored at the top for brand preference among all EHS consulting firms for the fifth consecutive year, beating out firms such as Aecom, Deloitte, and Capgemini. Nearly 40% of respondents rated DSS as “market leading” (16%) or “strong” (23%) in its capabilities as an EHS service provider. The Geneva-based firm was ranked as second for brand awareness among EHS consultancies, at 71%, only behind design and engineering giant Aecom, which had 79% awareness.

Verdantix’s survey also rated DSS’ business strategy as an industry best practice amid its ongoing capabilities expansion. The firm earlier this year bolstered its ability to meet clients’ growing ESG mandates with the acquisition of KKS Advisers, a Boston-based sustainability consultancy. DSS also has the scale and infrastructure to drive corporate initiatives at an enterprise level, as well as the ability to digitize EHS processes with technology including IoT devices.
