MorganFranklin hires risk expert Sue Ulrey as executive director

MorganFranklin Consulting, a McLean, VA–based management consultancy, has welcomed Sue Ulrey as an executive director. She is based in in Tampa Bay, FL.

Ulrey brings more than 20 years of experience helping companies manage risk to achieve strategic priorities and optimize performance, with a focus on the financial and healthcare markets. She has deep expertise delivering solutions within internal audit, compliance, finance, and information technology.

Ulrey joins MorganFranklin from IT consultancy Global CI, where she spent the last five years as a VP and national leader of the advisory services practice. Before that, she spent over three years at CliftonLarsonAllen, where she was a principal and national quality assurance reviews leader.

Earlier in her career, Ulrey spent 14 years at KPMG, where she was latterly a managing director in the risk advisory services practice and oversaw the Indiana and Kentucky markets. She also previously spent 11 years at health insurance firm Anthem, where she served as chief audit executive and chief compliance officer.MorganFranklin hires risk expert Sue Ulrey as executive directorUlrey holds a BA in accounting from the University of Kent, UK, and is a licensed chartered accountant, certified fraud examiner, and certified internal auditor.

Acquired by staffing firm Vaco in 2019, MorganFranklin offers finance, technology, cybersecurity, and business consulting services. The firm added a supply chain consulting offering earlier this year when it was combined with sister company Plantensive.
