Glenn Kurban joins Capco’s data practice as partner

Glenn Kurban has joined the US data and analytics practice of Capco, a management and technology consultancy focusing on financial services, as a partner. He will be based in Atlanta.

Kurban brings more 25 years of experience in data and analytics, data governance, enterprise program management, and software development.

He joins Capco from HR consultancy Randstad, where he spent the last four-and-a-half years and latterly served as global head of data governance, overseeing data governance and associated people, processes, and technology. Before that, he was a VP in the firm’s US enterprise program management office, where he oversaw enterprise business and IT project management standards, delivery quality, and performance metrics, among other areas.

Before that he spent nearly seven years at consulting firm Protiviti, where he was an associate director and led strategy and execution initiatives in data governance, master data management, and data quality for several Fortune 500 firms, including a large telecom firm and insurance company.Glenn Kurban, Partner, CapcoBefore that, Kurban was a senior director in project management office and merchant implementations at InComm, a payment technology company. He started his career with an eight-year stint at Accelerated Consulting Group, a boutique technology consultancy specializing in app development, business intelligence, and business process re-engineering.

Kurban holds an MBA from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Florida International University. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Capco helps its clients fast-track digital initiatives in banking and payments, capital markets, wealth and asset management, and insurance. The firm also works with clients in the energy industry.

Headquartered in London, Capco has more than 5,000 professionals across offices in Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific. The firm is part of IT consultancy Wipro, which acquired the firm in March.

Capco earlier this year added Jeremy Stierwalt as a Chicago-based partner in the firm’s data practice.
