Protiviti, the consulting arm of staffing giant Robert Half, has added Dame Inga Beale to its advisory board.

Beale brings nearly 40 years of experience in global financial services to Protiviti's advisory board, which provides market and business insights to help the consultancy and its clients navigate a dynamic business environment.

Between 2014 and 2018 Beale served as CEO of insurer Lloyd’s of London, overseeing a major digital and cultural transformation as well as expansion into China and India. Beale drove the launch of LGBT+ employee resource group Pride@Lloyd’s and was in 2015 ranked number one in INvolve’s OUTstanding LGBT+ executives list.

Beale received her Damehood in 2017 for services to the UK economy during her tenure as CEO of Lloyd’s.

"Dame Inga's vast experience working with global financial institutions, her deep knowledge of the insurance industry, and her proven expertise in managing large-scale business and cultural transformation programs will be immensely valuable to Protiviti and our clients," said Joseph Tarantino, president and CEO of Protiviti. "We're honored to have her join our already distinguished advisory board."

Prior to Lloyd’s, Beale was global chief underwriting officer at Zurich Insurance Group and CEO of Swiss reinsurer Converium. Earlier in her career, she was an underwriter at GE Insurance Solutions and Prudential Assurance.

"I am delighted to join the Protiviti Advisory Board and am looking forward to serving with the other members of the Advisory Board and sharing my experiences and perspectives with Protiviti and its clients," Beale said.

Protiviti’s advisory board includes Evelyn Dilsaver, former president and CEO of Charles Schwab Investment Management; Peter Henry, former dean of New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business; and Susan Molinari, former VP of Google Public Affairs for the Americas and former member of the US House of Representatives.

Protiviti has more than 4,500 people in 85+ offices across 25+ countries delivering services in business strategy and operations, performance improvement, digital transformation, technology consulting, risk and compliance, and transactions.

The firm earlier this year named Kim Bozzella as global technology consulting leader.
