Pushpak Das Purkayastha joins Capco as client partner
Pushpak Das Purkayastha has joined Capco, a financial services-focused management and technology consultancy, as a client partner based in New York City.
Das Purkayastha brings 18 years of management consulting experience to Capco, where he will continue to advise large financial services clients.
He has extensive experience delivering advisory services in growth and innovation strategy, operations, corporate finance, digital transformation, and emerging technologies. Das Purkayastha has supported clients across wealth management, asset servicing, insurance, and private equity in North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific.
Das Purkayastha has been at PwC since 2003, most recently serving as co-leader of the firm’s AI and cognitive automation practice for financial services. He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Management in Kolkata, India.“We are extremely pleased and excited to welcome Pushpak to Capco,” said David Oxenstierna, partner, Capco US. “He joins us at a key time as we continue to grow and build out our business, and brings outstanding global experience and expertise across industry domains and in both technology and business consulting.”
Capco delivers services in strategy, risk and compliance, transformation, technology advisory, systems integration, cybersecurity, digital engineering, innovation, and data and analytics. The firm works with financial services clients globally as well as energy clients in the US.
Capco, which has approximately 5,000 consultants, was last year acquired by India-based IT consultancy Wipro.
Capco recently welcomed Glenn Kurban as an Atlanta-based partner in the firm’s data and analytics practice.
