EisnerAmper acquires Minneapolis-based accountancy Lurie

EisnerAmper, a mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Lurie LLP, a Minneapolis-based CPA firm.

Founded in 1940, Lurie provides accounting, audit, advisory, tax planning, and wealth management services to clients in healthcare, professional services, technology, manufacturing, real estate, among others.

The firm has more than 200 employees, 24 partners, and offices in Minneapolis, Fort Myers, FL and Naples, FL.

Lurie was recently named a “Regional Leader” 2022 by Inside Public Accounting. The firm ranks 114 on IPA’s list of the 500 largest accounting firms in the United States, with $38.4 million in annual revenue.

The transaction, which is expected to complete next month, will expand EisnerAmper’s operations into Minnesota and strengthen its presence in Florida, where it has four locations.

The Lurie deal follows the similar-sized June acquisition of Raich Ende Malter & Company (REM), a CPA firm with offices in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and the Cayman Islands.

EisnerAmper is headquartered in New York and has approximately 250 partners and 2,750-plus employees across the US, Cayman Islands, UK, Israel, and India. The firm provides a full suite of audit, tax, and business consulting services.

The firm recently widened its outsourcing business with a new IT services offering.
