BDO USA acquires life sciences specialist AdaptaLogix
BDO USA has acquired AdaptaLogix, a Dublin, OH-based provider of NetSuite solutions for life sciences companies.
Founded in 2016, AdaptaLogix delivers NetSuite-based pharma, biotech, and medical device enterprise resource planning (ERP) and material requirements planning (MRP) solutions to mid-market and pre-revenue pharma firms.
The consultancy has solution offerings across compliance and reporting, approvals and controls, procurement and supply chain, in-house manufacturing, commercial, and project costing/billing.
AdaptaLogix has offices in Dublin, OH; Plymouth Meeting, PA; and New York City.
BDO’s acquisition of AdaptaLogix will strengthen its ERP consulting offering for pharma companies. Fourteen full-time professionals will join BDO Digital’s enterprise business applications solutions group, with the firm continuing to work with 20 affiliated contractors.
“Like BDO, the professionals at AdaptaLogix are passionate about creating a competitive advantage for their clients through a holistic, industry-centric lens. Their approach to building businesses rooted in purpose is fueled by a passion for helping pharma and biotech organizations that work tirelessly to change patients’ lives,” said Wayne Berson, CEO of BDO USA.
Launched in 2020, BDO Digital is the technology and digital transformation consulting subsidiary of BDO USA. The practice has more than 400 digital strategists, systems integrators, data scientists, software developers, and change management professionals.
“As the fastest growing NetSuite Solutions Partner of any industry, we help equip pharmaceutical and biotech innovators with resources that help them do their jobs better, which is exactly why we’re joining BDO,” said James Neal, president and managing partner of AdaptaLogix. “Our NetSuite experience combined with BDO Digital’s resources and national footprint will add significant value for companies that have been previously underserved by other ERP offerings.”
The mid-market accountancy recently entered a strategic relationship with Unit4, a Netherlands-based provider of enterprise software for services organizations.
