PA Consulting wins six Good Design awards

PA Consulting, a global innovation and transformation consultancy, was recognized six times at the 2022 Good Design Awards.

Founded in 1950 in Chicago, Good Design is the longest-run prize for achievements across all design disciplines, including product, packaging, communication and service design, architecture, interior architecture, user interface (UI), user experience (UX), and professional concept.

This year approximately 4,000 shortlisted entries were judged by independent and international jurors, with awards given to the designs with the highest design quality and innovation degree.

PA won an award in the transportation category for its design work on the UK’s electric vehicle chargepoint, which was commissioned by the UK Transport secretary and developed in collaboration with the Royal College of Art.

The consulting firm’s Astro Studios division won a graphic design award for its work on the branding of Advocord, a life-management platform for guardians and conservators of adult-dependents. Astro established the brand name and developed brand strategy and identity.

PA’s Design Partners division, meanwhile, won an industrial award for its work on the Picavi Smart Mount, which uses AR glasses to boost efficiency of the warehouse picking process by 40%.

Design Partners also was recognized for its household category design and engineering work on the Cricut Hat Press, which allows creatives to use heat-based products to transfer designs onto hats. The product uses Bluetooth to connect the device to Cricut’s app to send ideal time and temperature settings.

Finally, Design Partners won two awards in the consumer electronics category for its work on Logitech's G303 Shroud Edition Gaming Mouse and Signature M650 Mouse.
