Russell Reynolds buys leadership consultancy Nvolv
Russell Reynolds Associates, a New York-headquartered leadership advisory and executive search firm, has acquired Nvolv, a Rochester, NY-based leadership consultancy.
Founded in 2017, Nvolv helps develop and transform executives, teams, and organizations. The firm has supported leading companies such as GM, Starbucks, and Allstate.
Nvolv has a team of 27 change strategists, executive coaches, and process consultants located across the country.
Russell Reynolds’ acquisition of Nvolv will strengthen the firm’s capabilities in C-suite leadership advisory.
Bob Marcus, founder and CEO of Nvolv, will join Russell Reynolds’ New York office as a managing director. He brings more than 30 years of professional experience with particular expertise advising first-time CEOs and leaders pursuing significant transformation objectives. Before founding Nvolv, he spent 16 years at organizational consultancy Brimstone Consulting Group, where he served as managing partner.
“Bob and the entire Nvolv team have an enviable track record of building deep relationships and driving extraordinary results at the most senior levels of organizations, and we look forward to joining forces to increase the depth of both firms’ impact in advising and coaching C-suite executives, preparing the next generation of senior executives, supporting new leader integration, de-risking CEO succession, and aligning top teams to deliver on their transformation agendas,” said Constantine Alexandrakis, CEO of Russell Reynolds.
Russell Reynolds provides services in CEO/board advisory, culture and leadership assessment, digital transformation, diversity and inclusion, and executive search, among other areas. The firm has more than 600 employees across 47 offices in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
“Russell Reynolds Associates deserves its reputation as the best of the best in leadership advisory and I am excited to be joining this prestigious firm,” said Marcus. “We are eager to integrate Nvolv’s leadership, team, and organizational development services and unique client relationship architecture into the company, working together to create market-defining capabilities.”
