Skytale Group hires Annie Hockey as head of consulting
Skytale Group, a Dallas-based management consulting firm and investment bank specializing in medical practices, has hired Annie Hockey as head of consulting.
Based in San Francisco, Hockey brings over a decade of experience scaling growing enterprises and advising leaders on developing and implementing firm strategy. In her new role at Skytale, Hockey will focus on expanding the management consulting practice and ensuring clients receive best-in-class strategic and operational advice.
She has experience as an entrepreneur, executive, and management consultant, having built and advised businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. Since 2020, she has served as co-founder and director of Column N.A., a technology-focused bank based in the Bay Area. Before that, Hockey spent two years as a consultant at Bain & Company, where she supported PE-backed retail firms with business strategy and implementation.Earlier in her career she was an associate at Goldman Sachs and director of business development at Move Loot, a venture-backed e-commerce marketplace for used furniture.
Hockey has MBA and bachelor’s degrees from Stanford University.

Founded in 2018, Skytale helps dental practices and medical spas grow, scale, and sell their businesses. The firm has offerings in strategic growth advisory and mergers & acquisitions.
Skytale is led by founding partner Benjamin Hernandez. Prior to launching the firm, Hernandez was a consulting manager at MWA CPAs + Business Advisors and an analyst in the OTC derivatives group of HBK Capital Management.
