BRG adds Jeff George and Frank Wisehart to forensic practice
Berkeley Research Group (BRG), an Emeryville, CA-headquartered management consultancy, has hired Jeff George and Frank Wisehart as managing directors in its forensic accounting practice.
Based in Denver, George has over 15 years of investigative experience, with a focus on calculating economic damages in commercial litigation. He has advised on partnership disputes, breach of contract, trade secret theft, lost profits, personal injury, and wrongful termination, among other matters. George has also investigated a variety of fraud cases and testified in state and federal court proceedings.
He joins BRG from Baker Tilly US, where he was a partner. Before that, George was a director at RGL Forensics, a partner at HSNO (now J.S. Held), and an assistant VP at Marsh.
He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University and is a certified public accountant and accredited business valuation professional.Based in San Francisco, Wisehart has more than 25 years of testifying experience, with expertise across valuation, lost profits, white collar crime, and commercial litigation damages, among other areas.
He also joins BRG from Baker Tilly, where he was a partner. Before that, Wisehart was a partner at RGL Forensics, a director of business advisory services at Schneider Downs, and an IT risk manager at EY.
He has MBA degrees from Cornell University and Queen's University, Canada, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Miami University. Wisehart is a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner, accredited business valuation professional, and master analyst in financial forensics.
