Kit Spicer joins Capco as partner in finance, risk, and compliance
Kit Spicer has joined the New York office of Capco as a partner in the finance, risk, and compliance (FRC) practice.
Spicer brings 20 years of experience advising global financial institutions on strategy, risk management, and regulatory issues. In his new role at the management consulting firm, Spicer will build out the capital markets front office risk propositions and enhance existing solutions in stress testing and fundamental review of the trading book (FRTB).
Spicer joins Capco from BlockFi, where he spent the least year-and-a-half as head of credit risk and underwriting. Before that, head of counterparty portfolio analysis and stress testing at Morgan Stanley and a principal in the risk management & public policy consulting practice of Oliver Wyman.
Earlier in his career, he spent over decade at Goldman Sachs, where he was latterly a VP in credit risk management.Spicer has an MBA from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Muhlenberg College. He is a chartered financial analyst and professional risk manager.

Capco provides management and technology consulting services to clients in banking and payments, capital markets, wealth and asset management, and insurance. The firm also works with energy sector clients in the United States.
Headquartered in London, Capco has more than 7,000 employees across 37 offices globally. It was acquired by Indian IT consulting giant Wipro in 2021.
Capco earlier this year hired David Radvany and Michael Hertzig as partners in its US insurance sector practice.
