Graham-Pelton, a New York-headquartered fundraising consulting firm, has hired Phil Hills as a principal based in Boston. He also joins the advisory board of parent company Collegium, which operates several professional services firms catering to the non-profit sector.

Hills brings more than 35 years of experience in the consulting, non-profit, and higher education sectors.

He joins Graham-Pelton from fundraising consultancy Marts&Lundy, where he spent the last 12 years and served as president and CEO between 2016 and 2022. Before that, he was EVP of development at the Livestrong Foundation and VP of development at Emory University School of Medicine.

Earlier in his career, Hills was director of development for the Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida, director of major gifts at the School of Business and Public Management at George Washington University, and executive director of the national alumni association at the University of Tampa.

Graham-Pelton provides consulting services in fundraising strategy, organizational effectiveness, and business intelligence to nonprofits globally. The firm has 61 employees, according to its website, and offices in the US, UK, and Ireland.

“I am excited to join Graham-Pelton, a world-class and innovative leader in this industry, at a time of great opportunity for philanthropy to help solve many of the world's greatest challenges," said Hills.
